Midlife Luxe Life

Living well, one indulgence at a time.

About

Midlife, but make it luxe!

I'm Kim. When I retired from full-time work (I still work a little bit part time!), I made a list of things I wanted to learn. Pickleball and mahjong were right at the top, and now I'm a little bit addicted to both! Add in sourdough, Pilates and a closet I'm slowly editing down to the pieces I actually wear, and that's pretty much my week.

I'm also a mom of four: two daughters and two bonus daughters, all in their twenties and all completely different. (They're the reason my gift guides exist!) My husband and I live in Texas, spend our summers in Connecticut, and plan a lot of our trips around good food and better views.

I don't believe in waiting for "someday" to live well. I think you build it in, a little at a time, starting with the things right in front of you. And luxe doesn't have to mean expensive! Sometimes it's a splurge, but more often it's a warm loaf of sourdough on the counter or all four girls home around the same table. This blog is my running list of what's working for me lately, written the way I'd tell it to a friend over a glass of wine.

So pour yourself a glass and stay awhile! Say hello anytime at midlifeluxelife@gmail.com.
